Summer Storm: The Battle of Gettysburg – The Devil's to Pay

An expansion module for a Gettysburg campaign wargame, this scenario explores an alternate Battle of the Yellow Breeches and Dillsburg on July 3, 1863. Confederate forces have captured Harrisburg but are dangerously dispersed, while the Union army advances toward the gap at Dillsburg, threatening to split the Confederate army and cut off its eastern forces. The Union player launches a rapid attack with variable reinforcements, while the Confederate player forms a collapsing defense, withdraws troops across the Susquehanna, and evacuates as many supplies as possible. The scenario includes a tactical map, operational maps, and a booklet with setup instructions, conditions, and historical background. The base game is required to play.
