Take The "A" Chord

Improv in this jazz-themed trick-taking game. Players compete by playing cards from five suits marked with chord letters A-G. Players must follow the led suit unless they can match a letter already played. Matching a letter changes the strongest chord for later tricks, while matching the trick leader’s letter triggers improvisation and can leave the trick unresolved. Players score for improvisation and collected tricks, but taking too many tricks can cost points. After several rounds, the player with the most points wins.
