Usurp the King
Families surrounding the King use bribery, conspiracy, poison, and assassination to vie for control of the court. During the intrigue phase, players gather information, influence court members, and collect leverage cards. In the rebellion phase, those cards shift alliances and determine which subjects live, die, or become disgruntled. Seven possible victory conditions allow players to change their goals as they learn more about the court and each family’s plans.
