War of the Toads

Predict your opponent’s moves and counter their hidden tactics in a yomi-style battle between samurai toads. Take turns attacking and defending across two Wars, playing one card face-up and one face-down; each toad’s hidden tactic affects its ally when revealed. After each battle, capture defeated toads as hostages. When a deck runs out, leave out one casualty, swap decks, and begin the second War. Bluffing, card counting, and careful choices about which casualties to remove shape the path to victory.
