When Darkness Comes

A tile-based board game combines roleplaying with board-game play in scenarios involving zombies, mummies, vampires, and other undead threats. Each scenario sets a different objective, such as defeating a major enemy, finding an object, or defusing a bomb. Players use pre-generated or custom characters with seven attributes and specialized skills. Skill checks determine the number of dice rolled, with results evaluated through poker-style combinations including high values, pairs, straights, and three- or four-of-a-kind.
