Operational wargame depicting the fierce fighting between German and American forces for control of Carentan during the Normandy Campaign, 10–13 June 1944. Players command elite airborne formations, mechanized forces, armor, artillery, and combined-arms units across two scenarios. Purple Heart Lane covers the struggle between opposing paratroopers, with an optional rule for an earlier arrival of the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division. Battle of Bloody Gulch portrays the American defense against a German counterattack, including American armored units.
