Crossing the Line: Aachen 1944

An operational-level simulation of the autumn 1944 campaign around Aachen, covering division- and battalion-scale combat across a hex map where each hex is about 1.2 km and turns span two to eight days. Players activate one division at a time to perform movement, attacks, and entrenchment while the opposing side can intermittently react with specific divisions, producing a semi-interactive activation sequence suitable for two-player, team, or solitaire play. Scenarios recreate historical situations and reinforce operational planning, including reinforcements, withdrawals, and logistics reflected through counters, setup charts, and scenario booklets.
