Chamelequin

Players compete to be the last surviving pieces on an 8x8 board of alternating coloured squares. Each piece consists of a base and a stack of coloured rings, with the uppermost ring matching the colour of the square it occupies. During setup, players place their pieces and add rings to their stacks. On each turn, a piece either moves one square and adds a matching ring, or removes rings to reveal the colours that determine a move of up to three squares. Pieces encountered during this attacking move are eliminated, though the final ring cannot be removed.
