Combat! Vietnam

A tactical solitaire wargame set in the Vietnam War, covering actions from 1965–72 and including US Army, US Marines, ARVN, and Communist squads. Players command a single squad through scenarios such as ambushes, night perimeter attacks, urban fighting, and cross-border operations in South Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. A Random Scenario Generator creates varied encounters, while optional competitive rules support multiplayer play. A linked Campaign mode tracks a squad across multiple battles, developing individual characters. The rule set adds Vietnam-specific mechanics—snipers in trees, claymore mines, PRCs, M-79 and LAW weapons, armor counters, special terrain, and a range of scenario maps and counters.
