Guadalcanal Diary

Recreate the Guadalcanal campaign from the Allied landings in August 1942 through the end of November, at tactical and operational levels. Command major ground, naval, and air units as Allied or Japanese forces compete for control of Henderson Field. Combine ground combat with operational air and sea operations. Allied forces must capture and hold the airfield while managing reserves against Japanese counterattacks; Japanese forces must defeat the Allies before their position becomes too strong.
