How the West was Saved: the Russo – Polish War 1920

A two-player strategic wargame covering the Russo-Polish War from the Polish attack on Kiev in April 1920 to the effective end of the conflict in October. One player commands the Polish and Ukrainian armies, while the other controls the Russians and, if Lithuania joins the war, its forces. Players allocate limited resource points for movement and supply, assign Activation Markers, and contend with orders that may not be received or obeyed. Extended supply lines become increasingly vulnerable, while unit facing makes flanking manoeuvres central to combat. Infantry and cavalry divisions operate alongside artillery, aircraft, armoured trains, tanks, and other forces, with Random Event Cards introducing historical characters and unexpected events.
