Players take on the roles of detectives working for a small investigative firm in a post-apocalyptic city still shrouded by lingering dark clouds. The game is cooperative and story-driven: players gather clues, interrogate suspects, conduct stakeouts, and manage limited time and resources while following leads. Each case plays as a self-contained scenario or as part of a linked campaign, with branching cards and events that send investigations in different directions and allow for multiple outcomes. Investigators must resolve the case before the encroaching Darkness ends the mission.
