플레이어들은 전설적인 무술가들을 조종해 힘을 합치고, 여러 시나리오에 걸쳐 그림자 속에 숨은 세계적인 조직에 맞서 싸웁니다. 게임에는 정교한 미니어처, 각 전투원과 적마다 고유한 덱, 전용 주사위가 등장합니다. 플레이어들은 액션 중심의 전투에서 움직임과 특수 능력, 위치 선정을 조율해 목표를 달성하고 각 세력의 우두머리를 물리쳐야 합니다. 시나리오마다 다양한 목표와 변화하는 적 세력이 등장합니다. 1~4명이 협력해서 플레이할 수 있으며, 모듈식 규칙을 통해 난이도와 미션 구성을 조정할 수 있습니다.

    There is just too much rules overhead on each individual card that needs to be tracked. When I play a game like Gloomhaven, I'm thinking mostly about strategy, tactics, positioning. Playing Street Masters, I'm thinking about card interactions, reading what each individual card does when it activates (because each unique card is different). Even in true solo play, there are too many cards to track. Some of the combinations of characters, enemies, and bosses are very difficult without expressly being difficult, making you feel frustrated.
