Players compete to shape a shared society by promoting issues such as equality, organic food, war, youth culture, and women's priesthood. Played cards become hot topics that influence public opinion across four societal values: militarism, economy, human values, and green values. These values generate influence points, which players use to pass laws and score victory points. Card abilities interact with related issues, while limited laws create competition to become the leading advocate for each value.
