Skjaldborg

A set of skirmish rules for medieval miniatures, designed to handle engagements with fairly large numbers of troops. Combat and movement can throw units into disarray, reflecting the disruption of medieval fighting rather than keeping formations intact until they flee. Formations are optional but provide practical advantages that emerge during play. The rules are distributed as shareware, allowing players to download and try them before choosing whether to support the creators.
