The Coorg War

The Coorg War is a board game for 1–2 players. It plays in 90–180 minutes and is meant for ages 12 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 2.

Two-player or solitaire asymmetric war game set in 1834 colonial India. One player commands five East India Company columns advancing along fixed routes into the mountain kingdom of Coorg to depose the Raja, while the other leads Kodavan guerrilla bands in ambushes and delaying actions. Combat uses dice, with guerrilla bands temporarily removed when hit and Expedition columns accumulating Fatigue. Columns must rest to recover or risk retreat, while the Raja's Morale declines as the campaign continues. The game covers up to nine days and 27 turns, with wooden cubes representing the Raja's forces and cards forming the Expedition's tableau.
