Trick Stakes

Players manage a single horse whose movement across the track is determined by trick-taking rounds. Each player chooses a hand at the start that persists for the whole game, so card choices and observed outcomes reveal the horse’s tendencies over time. Rounds play like standard trick-taking but translate trick results into position advances and race outcomes, blending card play with prediction of how the chosen hand will perform.
