Players take the roles of satraps governing provinces in the Achaemenid Empire. Each player manages resources, uses a special ability, constructs buildings, and launches campaigns while fulfilling Tax and Campaign cards to gain the ruler’s favor. Rounds proceed through resource collection, an annual event, campaigns, building, taxation, and turn changes. The game ends when a player reaches 25 Victory Points or after seven rounds, with the highest score winning.
