1918: Brother Against Brother

A two-player wargame about the Finnish Civil War of early 1918, in which government forces and socialist revolutionaries contest the future of newly independent Finland. The point-to-point map shows the period’s roads and railways, which affect movement and operations. Players command company- and battalion-level units, including Civil Guards, Red Guards, armoured trains, Jaeger units, and German intervention forces. More than 50 historical event cards can be played either for their events or as action points. The Reds seek to capture Vaasa or hold their territory until the game ends, while the Whites work to contain the revolution and manage outside intervention.
