Masque of the Red Death

Players are nobles attending a lavish masquerade, competing to increase their social standing while the threat of a spreading plague looms. On each turn players move through themed rooms, gather influence with the Prince, trade favors, and exchange gossip to boost their reputation. An ebony clock mechanic advances the night and triggers the Red Death’s visits, forcing players to deduce which rooms will be struck and to balance risk against reward. Victory goes to the highest-ranking noble who survives when the final chime falls; social maneuvering and survival planning are both required.
