When Revealed abilities initiate during the Plot phase reveal step (1.3 III) immediately after plots are turned faceup, with the first player choosing the order they resolve; interrupt/reaction timing follows the normal rules so relevant interrupts/reactions may be initiated in the appropriate windows (see pages 26 and 24).

Attachments remain attached to the card while it stays in play; attachments are only returned to their owners' hands if the card leaves play, while ownership and control rules explain who controls cards in each zone (see pages 27, 31, 12 and 14).

A character must be standing and have the appropriate challenge icon to be declared as an attacker or defender; declared attackers/defenders are kneeled simultaneously, and total STR is the sum of all participating characters' STR plus relevant modifiers (if a side's total STR is less than 1 or there are no participating characters, neither player wins) (see pages 28 and 20).

When a player becomes the active player during the Marshaling phase they collect income equal to the gold on their revealed plot, and during the marshaling action window the active player may marshal cards by paying their gold cost from their gold pool (see pages 9 and 27).

When a card leaves play, all tokens on it return to the treasury, any duplicates on it are discarded, all attachments on it are returned to their owners' hands, and lasting/delayed effects affecting it expire simultaneously (see page 12).
