Players field units of Guardsmen, halberdiers and brigands, supplemented by named characters who provide unique abilities and close-combat power. The set supplies fully assembled miniatures, unit and attachment cards, tactics and siege decks, objective and secret mission cards, tokens, rulers and a rulebook for complete play.
