Ascension: Immortal Heroes

Two players compete to harness the power of trapped hero souls and halt a rebel godling’s rise. Players draft cards from a shared central pool, adding purchased cards to their personal deck while using other cards to defeat creatures that appear in the common space. Soul Gem cards represent past heroes and introduce new deck-building options; acquiring cards and vanquishing foes both earn victory points. The game functions as a standalone two-player deck-builder or as a supplement to the related Storm of Souls set, resolving the story arc through tactical card acquisition and combat.
