Players try to discard all the cat cards from their hand while avoiding being left holding the Mistigri card. On each turn, players play matching pairs or follow simple card rules to reduce their hand; the last player holding the special Mistigri card loses the round. Rounds repeat and players track penalties or points until a winner emerges.
