D-Day Sword Beach: On to Caen

This simulation covers the British and airborne landings around Sword Beach during the Normandy campaign, with the capture of Caen as the primary objective. Turns represent two to three days, and the map uses a 2.5-mile-per-hex scale. Players command regiments, special battalions, and available fire support using the Fire & Movement system. Allied forces must advance against German resistance and the nearby Panzer reserve, while threats toward Caen can draw German units away from other parts of the front. The game supports solitaire play and can be combined with other folios to portray larger sections of the campaign.
