Defending America: Intercepting the Amerika Bombers, 1947-48

Solitaire, tactical air combat against hypothetical German bombers approaching the United States in an alternate 1947–48. Each turn represents a sortie, with the player taking off from a carrier or land base, intercepting one of six modeled bomber types, resolving combat and weather-affected landing operations, then checking for awards and experience. Experience can be spent on pilot skills, while a technology track provides access to advanced interceptor aircraft. The campaign continues through March 1948 or until the pilot is shot down, with optional cooperative and competitive rules.
