Hamburg

Players act as city mayors in late 19th-century Hamburg and play over eight rounds to score points by developing the city and managing risks. Each round begins with six colored dice that create threats and trigger special effects; players collect threat markers when dice show high values and suffer penalties for accumulating three of the same threat type. Dice results also set a coin cost to advance on the mayor track and can activate other city elements. On each turn, players play five cards (one from each color stack) that have multiple functions: start or build on plots, activate boats, strengthen the city wall, or grant ongoing abilities and endgame scoring. Players earn points for constructions, achievements, and unique round objectives; the highest total after eight rounds wins.
