Highland Clans

Players lead clans in the Scottish highlands, developing their landholdings and competing for influence, cattle, warriors, ministers, and pipers. Each round begins by drawing six cubes from a bag and using them to expand the clan, create estates, attract followers, or generate victory points. A player may then raid an opponent. Three battle rounds are resolved by playing cards valued from one to four, with pipers able to increase a card’s value. The winner gains victory points while the loser loses cubes. End-of-round valuations award points for majorities and cattle, while estate tiles determine when the game ends.
