La Guerre de 1870: La chute de Napoléon III (juillet-août 1870)

Napoleon III’s French army faces von Moltke’s Prussian and German forces during the opening weeks of the Franco-Prussian War in 1870. The game uses the Marshals series system, with each turn representing one day and each counter representing a division. Players manage mobilisation, concentration, and manoeuvre across a map where zones are approximately 10 kilometres apart. France must overcome organisational difficulties and diplomatic isolation, while Prussia seeks to coordinate its forces and bring the French to a decisive battle on favourable terms. The game can be combined with Sedan 1870 to cover the campaign through the final battle.
