Longue Vie au Roi

Each player’s hand represents a kingdom containing a King and a selection of units dealt randomly from the available set. Players secretly arrange their cards, then take turns revealing a unit to use its effect, attacking a neighboring kingdom across its borders, and checking whether accumulated popular wrath causes an uprising. Attacks require players to estimate the values of opposing units, removing them card by card until the enemy King is exposed. Failed attacks and certain unit effects increase popular wrath. The last surviving kingdom wins. Each game uses seven different units alongside the King, creating varied interactions and strategies.
