Museum: The Black Market

Players explore an illicit market of archaeological contraband and aggressive actions set alongside the core museum gameplay. A separate market board offers purchasable Object and Notoriety cards that come from different civilizations and typically carry only a single attribute; their prices decrease the longer they remain unsold. Players buy these cards to bolster their collections or to disrupt opponents, using new Notoriety effects that steal objects, create counterfeits, or directly take prestige. The expansion also adds new character abilities, event cards, and a pool of contraband cards that increase player interaction and introduce more confrontational tactics into collection-building.
