Overlords of Infamy

Players portray rival Evil Overlords competing to make their subjects as miserable as possible. Each player collects resources and play cards to complete Nefarious Plots — small mischiefs and large catastrophes alike — while an Adventuring Hero moves around the board attempting to thwart those plans. Tension rises as player actions trigger a global tension track that leads to random world events, and opponents may use espionage and interference against one another. The game resolves when plots are completed, the hero is repelled, or the world event occurs, determining which overlord achieves the most infamy.
