Robo Rally

Players control malfunctioning race robots competing through a hazardous automobile factory on a Saturday-night course. Each round, players draw and program movement cards from a personal deck to move their robot through corridors, conveyer belts and traps, aiming to reach checkpoints in numerical order. Factory hazards and rival actions can damage robots; damage cards get shuffled into decks and affect future programming. Movement order and special effects arise from board position and card interactions, creating tactical planning, forced reboots and occasional forced repeats as players jockey for the lead.

New edition of this Richard Garfield game of competing robots in stages filled with obstacles and sliders. Programmed action is both a plus and a minus on this one... it can get frustrating at times, when things don't go as planned and you may lose your whole turn! Wanna try Mechs & Minions to see how good that one is in comparison.
