Royalists & Roundheads II

A historical wargame covering four battles of the English Civil War: Edgehill, Fyvie, Alford, and Auldearn. Each battle is a complete game, playable in 30 minutes to three hours, with automatic victory conditions that can end the action abruptly. An accessible command system models the difficulties of battlefield control. Leaders have ratings for command, initiative, and combat, while units use weapons including pikes, muskets, artillery, bows, and lances. The game includes four maps, 300 counters, rules, reference charts, and a six-sided die, with strong solitaire suitability.
