Sea of Plunder

Players command merchant ships across a changing sea, racing to discover treasure islands while collecting goods from port cities, trading with other merchants, and avoiding or manipulating pirate ships. Each turn, players draw cards, play a treasure map, port, or action card, then discard a card to move a pirate. Pirates can claim treasures, blockade ports, steal goods, or force players to take on debt. Players score for treasures, varied sets of goods, and magical compasses, while debt reduces their final score. The game ends when a player collects three treasures or pirates collect six, after which the highest score wins.
