Star Wars: X-Wing Gra Figurkowa

Can my ship perform an action if it has a stress token?

No — while a ship has one or more stress tokens it cannot perform any actions (including free actions), and it also cannot execute red maneuvers; stress is added for red maneuvers and removed by green maneuvers (pages 7, 17).

What do I do if my maneuver would make my base overlap another ship — do I still get to do my action?

If the final position would overlap another ship, move the active ship backward along the template until the bases are merely touching and then skip that ship’s Perform Action step; if the overlap was caused by a turning maneuver treat it as a straight of the same speed/color (page 17).

How do target locks work — can I lock any ship and how do I spend the lock?

You may acquire a target lock on any enemy ship at Range 1–3 measuring 360° from your ship and place matching red/blue tokens; you may spend the matching pair only when attacking the ship you locked to reroll any number of attack dice (pages 9, 11).

How do I determine if a target is inside my firing arc and how do I measure range?

A target is inside your firing arc if any part of its base falls inside the wedge-shaped arc on your ship token, and range is measured by placing the Range 1 end of the ruler on the closest part of the attacker’s base and reading which section overlaps the closest part of the defender’s base (pages 10–11).

If an attacking ship destroys a ship with the same pilot skill, can that destroyed ship still attack this round?

Yes — ships with pilot skill equal to the active (attacking) ship get the opportunity to resolve their attack even if they would be destroyed by that attack; after they attack they are then destroyed and removed (Simultaneous Attack Rule, page 16).

Do other ships block my firing arc or line of fire?

No — other ships do not obstruct firing arcs (ships can be targeted as long as any part of their base is inside the attacker’s arc); obstacles are separate rules (page 10).
