Thebes: The Tomb Raiders

Conduct archaeological expeditions across Egypt, Mesopotamia, Crete, and Greece in early 20th-century Europe. Gather knowledge about five ancient civilizations, then spend time to search their excavation decks for treasures and dirt. Actions advance players along a time track, with the player furthest back taking the next turn. When the available time runs out, accumulated treasures determine the winner.

I've played about 1.75 games worth, and that's enough. If it was truly a 30-45 minute game, I'd be a lot more forgiving, but there's far too much randomness for the 1.5 hours it was taking to play.
