Tiny Towns: Fortune

Coins introduce a new currency and effect layer to the base game. Players collect and spend coins to trigger special abilities, buy resources, and influence scoring through market-style interactions. Gameplay remains focused on placing building resources on a shared grid to complete crafting patterns, but coins add tactical choices about when to hoard, spend, or use them to gain otherwise unavailable benefits. Earning coins requires specific actions and planning, so resource management and spatial placement remain central to success.

1st Impressions: Off late been playing a lot of expansions which don't add too much in rules but add more possibilities for different strategies and hence make the game a bit for forgiving. This does exactly that with the "Money". Secondly, provides new buildings that add a ton of replayability and refreshes the game if you have played it a lot. Some of the new money related buildings can be slightly more complex, but that kind of range of complexity existed in the base game buildings anyway. A sound purchase if you like the game — if you play with beginners because of the first aspect and the second if you play a lot and looking to spice things up.

Pytania o zasady

Odpowiedzi z instrukcji od asystenta zasad Ludoya.

If I build two or more buildings in one round, how many coins do I get?

You gain exactly 1 coin after all buildings and their costs and effects are resolved; building more than two does not earn extra coins. Only buildings constructed by removing resources count for this bonus, not buildings constructed via monument abilities. (p. 2)

Can I keep more than four coins in my Chest?

No. You can store up to four coins, and if you already have four when you gain another, you lose the new coin unless a constructed Monument gives you an extra storage space. (p. 2)

Can I spend a coin to ignore the Master Builder’s resource choice?

Yes. Spend 1 coin to place a different resource instead of the one named by the Master Builder; this affects only your placement, and the Master Builder cannot do this. (p. 2)

Are leftover coins worth points, or do I have to spend them to feed buildings?

Each leftover coin is worth 1 point at game end, but you must spend coins to feed any buildings you can feed with them—you cannot keep those coins for points. (p. 3)

If a building is placed by a Monument ability, do I still pay its construction cost?

Yes. If the building has a coin cost, you must still pay it, and you also receive the building’s usual benefits. (p. 3)

Can I construct several buildings at once and resolve their effects together?

No. Construct them one at a time, resolving each building’s costs and effects separately; you choose the order. (p. 2)
