Epic sieges pit the forces of Shadow against the strongholds of the Free Peoples, focusing on assaults against walls, towers, and fortifications. Players deploy siege engines, catapults, and towers to batter defenses and spread despair, while defenders attempt sorties, rally troops, and perform heroic feats to hold the line. New mechanics resolve siege progress, morale, and special heroic actions, and include plastic figures, custom dice, tokens, and cards that expand tactical options and narrative outcomes in the core campaign.
