1866: The Struggle for Supremacy in Germany

Bismarck rises as Austria and Prussia vie for supremacy in Germany. This two-player simulation covers the Austro-Prussian War of 1866, with one side commanding Prussia and its allies, including Italy, and the other leading Austria and the German Confederation. Players use shared Operations Cards to mobilize forces, conduct political and military operations, deploy corps and divisions, and direct combat across Central Europe. Mobilization decisions shape the forces available once war begins, while railroads, cavalry, coordinated attacks, and the possible intervention of Napoleon III influence the campaign. Two scenarios cover the mobilization period and the Seven Weeks War.
