History of the Ancient Seas I: HELLAS

A strategy game set in the ancient Mediterranean, where players lead Athens or Sparta in the struggle to establish a dominant empire. Build armies and fleets, explore unknown lands, conquer islands and provinces, expand trade routes, and develop military, economic, and cultural strength while managing wealth, happiness, and stability. Players take actions through an interactive impulse system, with each chosen action unavailable to the next player and a limited number of actions available each turn. War can expand an empire but carries significant costs and risks, while peace allows trade, stability, and prosperity. Fleets and legions move across the map from the Hellenic world to Persia and Sicily.
