The Expanse Board Game

Four factions vie for control of the solar system through politics, military action and covert schemes. Play proceeds via a card-driven system: players spend action points, play event cards tied to characters and incidents from the setting, and move and place fleets and influence across a map of the system. Each faction has asymmetrical abilities and unique goals, so players must balance diplomatic influence, territorial conquest and tactical operations. Rounds alternate between card play and maneuvering, with scoring based on control of key locations and successful use of faction powers.
