San Juan Hill: The Santiago Campaign 1898

A low-complexity, two-player operational simulation of the US campaign to capture the Cuban port of Santiago during the Spanish-American War. One player commands American and Cuban forces, while the other controls Spanish units. Players maneuver infantry, artillery, and insurgent units across a half-mile-per-hex map, with each turn representing three days. Rules cover concealed Spanish units, uncertain supply, variable landing areas, naval bombardment, harbor fortresses, fever, artillery, engineers, and other campaign-specific conditions.
