Black Gold

Survey the Texas fields for oil wells, claim promising sites, and build derricks to extract their reserves. Transport oil by rail to one of three companies, then bid for the right to sell it at the highest price. Modular, double-sided map tiles create varied layouts, while action cards and special actions shape each round. Players can bluff about sales licenses during auctions, but penalties apply if the deception is exposed. The game ends when the Oil Baron’s train reaches the final track, and the player with the most money wins.
