This supplement adds new combat actions for creatures featured in Tales from the Yawning Portal. When badly wounded, monsters, fiends, and other foes gain special abilities that can change the course of a battle. It also introduces death throes for selected creatures, giving their defeat distinctive effects such as explosions, collapses, and other final actions.
