Cavemen: The Quest for Fire

Players lead prehistoric tribes competing to hunt dinosaurs, recruit tribesmen, acquire caves, and discover inventions. Food keeps each tribe from starving, while Teeth represent prestige and are used to bid for the conch and obtain new cards. Each turn, cards fill a shared pool of available beasts, cavemen, caves, and technologies. Players take actions from the pool, hunting beasts for Food and Teeth and using the conch to act first and take an additional action. Twenty-one inventions support different strategies as players manage resources, assess opponents, and compete to develop the knowledge and prestige needed to discover fire.
