Degenesis
A ruined future, five centuries after an asteroid swarm destroys civilization, is contested by seven cultures and thirteen organizations and cults. Characters belong to factions ranging from nomadic wanderers and technophile archivists to medical orders, mercenaries, judges, and merchant dynasties. A spreading extraterrestrial growth known as the Sepsis infects fungi, animals, and people, producing the psychoactive Burn drug. Children affected by it may develop strange abilities and eventually become Psychonauts, gaining psionic powers while risking madness through contact with the Sepsis hive mind.
