Colonists arrive on a harsh desert world and compete to secure resources and advantages for their clan. Play lasts 15 rounds; each round players pick one of five actions: explore, exploit oasis water, attack rival clans, expand capabilities, or excavate ancient technologies. Timing action selection and anticipating opponents’ choices determine outcomes. Excavated technologies modify players’ actions and provide victory points, but some benefits require trade-offs. Resource management, area control and targeted conflicts drive scoring as players balance short-term needs with long-term upgrades.
