Four Against the Abyss
An expansion for Four Against Darkness covering character levels 5–9. It adds d8-based combat and saving throws, new monster reactions, stronger monsters, expert skills, and additional spells for wizards and elves. The rules introduce madness, vampirism, lycanthropy, hirelings, and professionals, along with campaign plots that link multiple dungeons. Updated charts provide new monsters, encounters, and treasures for experienced adventuring parties.
