Hunt for Blackbeard

In 1718, one player takes the role of Blackbeard while the other commands the colonial and Royal Navy hunters searching for him along the coast of North Carolina. Blackbeard seeks to carry out acts of piracy or remain free, while the hunters gather information and try to determine his location and plans. Over up to four turns, players draw secret tiles, commit action pawns behind screens, and prepare defenses, sail, scout, interview informants, or plan piracy. Blackbeard secretly updates information on the map as the hunters inspect markers and search for his camp or trail. The game can end with a boarding action, or Blackbeard can win by completing piracy while evading capture.
